Note: BAP 0031
OBIT 0008
NOTES: SEE PHOTOS

The hotel was established on the farm on which he was born. (src: Family History by Jody Hunt Nantais)

Joseph lost a leg in a hunting accident.

Joseph fostered 3 additional children: Mary Rocheleau, Louise LeDuc, Mary Wright. (src: Family History by Jody Hunt Nantais)

Discrepency on birth date---1901 census shows Joseph's birth date as Oct 20, 1853.

His obituary states he is the father of 13 children, 10 of whom are surviving at the time of his death. I only have 11 names at this time (July 2003)
Other children found in Adolphus Agustus Nantais OBIT which shows all his brothers and sisters.
Now have 13 children + 3 foster children. (Aug 2003)
