On the 1881 Census, there is a Pierre Albert age 37, born in France and married, occupation of farm laborer, who is living with this family.

Newspaper obituary. Dolph was 83 years old. He died following a 6 month illness. For more than 80 years he lived and operated a farm. Just 2 years ago, he sold the farm to a Detroit real estate firm. Mr. Nantais then retired and moved to Windsor. An adopted son, William Meloche, lives at home.
